Settings

Open Settings with Ctrl,, the gear button, or File > Settings.

Task View

• Show or hide due dates, When dates, tags, checklists, note indicators, and status labels on task cards.
• Group columns by area.
• Hide empty columns.

Timeline View

• Configure the same display details for timeline blocks.
• Hide Timeline View from the view switcher and Tab cycling.

Timebox View

• Configure task-card details in the task list.
• Set the visible start and end hours for the day planner.
• Hide Timebox View from the view switcher and Tab cycling.

Appearance and taskbar badge

• Choose dark, light, or automatic system theme.
• Adjust the interface scale.
• Set the Inbox color.
• Use Taskbar Badge to show a task count on the Taskspect icon in the Windows taskbar. Choose Off, Today, Inbox, Today + Inbox, Overdue, or Today + Overdue.

The badge shows counts from 1 through 99. Counts above 99 appear as 99+, and the badge clears when the selected count is zero. Taskbar badges are available in the installed Windows version of Taskspect and do not appear in unpackaged development builds.

Live preview: The interface scale updates while you move the slider. Choose Cancel to revert. If you leave Settings with unsaved changes, Taskspect asks whether to save or discard them.
